Assembling The Hi-Hat Stand
1. Loosen the T-screw on the base and spread the tripod legs.
2. Thread the upper pull rod into the lower pull rod in the base assembly.
3. Insert the upper tube into the base and tighten the T-screw on the bass assembly.
4. Place the bottom hi-hat cymbal on the hi-hat bottom seat.
5. Loosen the lock nut on the hi-hat clutch. Put the top cymbal between the
two
hi-hat felts and tighten the lock nut.
6. Loosen the T-screw on the hi-hat clutch and slide the clutch onto the upper
pull
rod. Depress the hi-hat pedal and tighten the T-screw on the hi-hat clutch.
When
properly adjusted, there should be about one inch clearance between the
top and
bottom hi-hat cymbals with the pedal undepressed.
7. Place the fully assembled hi-hat stand to the left of the snare stand.
