Ibanez Darkstone Guitars

Ibanez's new DN series "Darkstone" guitars are designed to be the new standard in heavy metal rock guitars. Darkstone guitars sport a smart body style, rock-solid construction and powerful, clean sound along with a slew of great new features.

The Tight-Tune bridge & tailpiece are as solid as they come. Each saddle is locked onto the base plate, and the bridge is anchored by stud bolts into the body of the guitar; the stud bolts are also locked into the base plate for even more stability, preventing any kind of wobble or movement. This system effectively transfers the maximum vibration from the strings into the body.

PP1 pickups are brand new for the Darkstone series, and offer quick response, sparkling clarity and great humbucker sound. They're mounted with a special mounting ring that, unlike those found in most guitars, keeps the pickups parallel to the strings at all times. This way, pickups catch equal vibrations from every string, avoiding tone loss.
