Yamaha MSR Speakers

Much of the hassle in putting together a high-performance sound system involves amplifier and speaker selection and setup. Yamaha's MSR series powered speakers can take you past all that and straight to great sound. The MSR400 speaker can be used alone or paired with the MSR800 powered subwoofer depending on your aural needs. What's more, they look good enough to use as-is in many permanent installations, and are more than rugged enough for demanding tour applications as well. In either situation, powered speakers offer a great advantage over the alternative, beyond just simplifying your setup by removing external amplifiers and all the necessary connections from the picture. Finding the optimal match between speaker and amp is a complicated engineering task, but with MSR powered speakers the internal amplifiers have been meticulously designed to be the perfect mate for their speakers. You can have the great sound from an ideal speaker-amplifier match with no effort at all. MSR400 speakers are also extremely versatile - they can be stacked, suspended from a ceiling, or pole-mounted. And there's even a pole-mount hole in the companion MSR800 subwoofer so you can mount the speaker there as shown in the image to the right.
