Dave Perkins

A 39 year old Asheville native, and UNC-A graduate of physics with minors in music and mathematics, Dave has been playing music since the age of five. He has played guitar, piano, bass, and drums in various bands and ensembles throughout his life.

Dave’s styles are varied from bluegrass to rock to jazz and his influences include Wes Montgomery, Steve Morse, Joe Pass, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, Elvin Jones, Tain Watts, Charles Mingus, and Kenny Kirkland. Catch him around town playing in various ensembles with other local talent, or come in and hone your skills.
