My approach to the repair of a customer's instrument is that their need is first and foremost. First, what style does the customer play and how long have they been playing? I evaluate their needs as expressed in conjunction with the condition of the instrument. I then explain the options for repair and the respective costs.

The next stage is the interaction of myself with the customer's instrument. The two most important attributes of a good repairman are patience and attention to detail. You have to think out and plan in detail how to execute the repair, paying attention to the entire instrument not just the particular area of repair. My goal is to be meticulous and treat every instrument as if it is the one I'm going to play myself.

All players are different as are all instruments and I see it as my job to see that they are able to get along and make music. Music is Good!
